Charles Jay Makey Jr., a 21-year-old African-American male, went missing from Banning, California in the summer of 2014. He was last physically seen on June 12, 2014. However, he was reportedly heard from via a phone call on June 20, 2014, which is officially cited as the date of his last contact. Makey has not been seen or heard from since that final phone call. More than three weeks later, on July 16, 2014, he was formally reported as a missing person.
