Fritz Victor Quenzler, a 36-year-old man, was last seen in Sausalito, California on October 31, 1978. He was reportedly in a "deep state of depression" and under a doctor's care at the time of his disappearance. Quenzler was a white male with gray hair and green eyes, stood at 6 feet 3 inches tall, and weighed approximately 180 pounds.
On the day he went missing, Quenzler departed from the Pelican Yacht Harbor aboard his boat, the "Sea Scamp". His departure was described as unexpected.
