On August 23, 2001, 66-year-old Jacques Pierre Gamache was last seen in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He departed from the Smyrna Marina at noon, piloting his 37-foot sailboat named the "Concessions" with the intention of sailing to the Ponce de Leon Inlet.
