Jerome Dempsey Johnson, 58, was last seen on March 30, 2016, in Jacksonville, Florida. He had been residing in a house in the 1300 block of West 22nd Street on the city's north side for only a few months before his disappearance. Johnson, who was affectionately known by his family and friends as "Dollar Bill," was reported missing under grim circumstances. His sister recalled that most people knew him by his nickname, which he earned because he often had a dollar bill on him.
