Alonzo Lee Kent IV, a 40-year-old salesman from Gulf Breeze, Florida, was last seen on August 26, 2011. An Auburn University graduate and married man, Kent embarked on a solo fishing trip into the Gulf of Mexico aboard his 36-foot Boston Whaler, named the "Monkey Bar II," and did not return. His family reported him missing on the morning of August 28, 2011. This prompted a large-scale search by the U.S. Coast Guard, which covered an area larger than the state of Maryland before being called off.
