Five-month-old Joshua Justin Summeries was last seen on August 19, 2013, in Zion, Illinois. His disappearance was initially reported as an abduction by his mother's boyfriend, Demetries Thorpe. Thorpe claimed that a man had reached through an open window of their apartment and taken the infant. However, when questioned by Joshua's mother, Kisha Summeries, about why he hadn't contacted the police, Thorpe fled.
