Four-year-old Brandon Lamarr Sims was last seen in Indianapolis, Indiana, in July or August of 1992. His mother, Michelle Engron Jones, who was 15 when Brandon was born, had a troubled past and had spent time in the foster care system. Brandon was primarily raised by his paternal grandmother until he was three years old, at which point Jones took over his care.
