On January 25, 1992, four-year-old Daniel John Andersen disappeared near Finchford, Iowa, a case that has remained unsolved for decades. That day, Daniel had gone with his father, David Andersen, to a carpentry job located in the 8300 block of Newell Road. At some point, Daniel mentioned he was cold and wished to go inside. This was the last time he was reportedly seen. At the time of his disappearance, Daniel was a nursery school student at the Malcolm Price Laboratory School.
