William Francis Rogers, a 46-year-old man, was last seen at his home in North English, Iowa, during the evening of February 25, 2001. In a tragic turn of events, his house burned down that same night. A subsequent search of the debris by authorities yielded no trace of Rogers. Some agencies have suggested that his disappearance was the result of a catastrophe.
