Robert Ronald Tippit, 36, was last seen in Topeka, Kansas, sometime in 1977 or 1978 and has not been heard from since. At the time of his disappearance, Tippit was described as a white male, 5'10" and weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was also known by the nicknames Bob, Lace, and several aliases, including Richard Allen Lais, Ron Roberts, and Arthur Dewuane Tippit.
