Ronald Allen Douglass, 39, was last seen in Springfield, Missouri, sometime in March 1983. At the time of his disappearance, he was an evangelistic musician traveling and performing in the Midwest with the Whitey Gleason Trio. According to Whitey Gleason, Douglass was staying with him and his family at a local motel. Gleason informed authorities that he and his wife went to a nearby store, and upon their return, Douglass was gone. All of his personal belongings had also vanished.
