Barbara D. G. Sears Fears, a 56-year-old woman, was last seen on October 5, 2008, in Reno, Nevada. She was a resident of the Able Abilities Group Home, a facility for mentally ill adults, from which she was seen walking away on the day of her disappearance. Investigations by authorities later revealed that she had boarded a Greyhound bus destined for San Francisco, California. There have been no confirmed sightings or contact with Fears since she is believed to have arrived in San Francisco.
