On July 6, 2005, 32-year-old Stephen Joseph Davaris Jr. was last seen by a relative in Secaucus, New Jersey. He informed his parents of his intention to visit the Jersey Shore; however, he instead purchased a one-way airline ticket to Ireland, a country he had visited on previous occasions and where he had relatives. Davaris arrived in Dublin on July 8, 2005. Following his arrival, he was reportedly seen at a pub in Inagh, County Clare.
