On February 24, 2011, 25-year-old Michael Lanyette Fauntleroy Jr. was last seen in his lifelong home of Trenton, New Jersey. That evening, he spoke with his mother at 10:30 p.m., and at 12:02 a.m. on February 25, he sent her a text message stating he was on his way home. Fauntleroy, who lived with his mother and young son, never arrived and has not been seen or heard from since. His disappearance was considered highly uncharacteristic, as he maintained close contact with his family.
