Jeffrey Lynn Combs, 41, was last seen in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina on October 23, 2008. His disappearance occurred while his mother was at work. Combs, who used a scooter for transportation, left a note at their home stating that someone had broken in and stolen his scooter, two helmets, and his cell phone. In the note, he declared his intention to find the thief and asked his mother to come looking for him if he wasn't back by dark.
