Jared McCauley, a 24-year-old man from Portage County, Ohio, was last seen on December 31, 2011. At the time of his disappearance, he was residing in the 2300 block of Lansinger Road in Suffield, Ohio. On the night he vanished, McCauley had a distressing phone conversation with his mother, expressing fear that someone was after him. Adding to the ominous circumstances, a witness reported hearing gunshots in the vicinity of McCauley's home around the same time. He was never heard from again.
