Michael Allen Jarvi, 28, resided with his family in Naselle, Washington at the time of his disappearance. On March 22, 2002, he left his home in his red Ford Escort with plans to meet his cousin in Astoria, Oregon. However, Jarvi never arrived at the intended destination. Prior to his disappearance, he had contact with a counselor in the Long Beach area and also met with a relative in Ilwaco and another in Warrenton, Oregon.
