Christopher Michael Kareck, a 21-year-old from Sparks, Nevada, was reported missing on January 3, 2018, in Brookings, Oregon. He was visiting friends in the area at the time of his disappearance. On the morning of January 3rd, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Kareck and a friend were standing on a rock on the beach near the Indian Sands Trail.
