Mikalena Nau was a 37-year-old woman who was last seen on February 4, 2006, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Known to some friends and family by her birth name, Michelle, she had legally changed her name to Mikalena prior to her disappearance. At the time, she lived alone in the Castor Gardens apartment complex in the Oxford Circle section of northeast Philadelphia and was attempting to build a new future for herself.
