On August 11, 1989, eight-year-old Tilwanda Denise Cheatham disappeared from her hometown of Aiken, South Carolina. She lived with her parents in the Balltown area on Jack Jones Street. On the day she went missing, Tilwanda was at a relative's house when her mother informed her she had to return home.
