On November 17, 2003, 46-year-old Matthew Colter was last seen at his home in the 1100 block of Erika Road in Orangeburg, South Carolina, at approximately 6:30 p.m. His sister was the last known person to see him and reported that he was behaving strangely at the time. Colter, who is diagnosed with schizophrenia, did not have his medication with him when he disappeared.
