Francis D. Crownover, a 34-year-old woman, vanished from Hamilton County, Tennessee, on November 26, 1987. At the time, she was residing with her boyfriend, Joseph Duenas, in the 6400 block of Pythian Drive in Harrison, Tennessee. Duenas informed authorities that they had both gone to bed at 11:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, and when he awoke the following morning, Crownover was gone. He stated that she had left a note indicating she would call, but no call was ever received.
