Krystal Nicole Cashew, a 22-year-old woman, was last seen in Houston, Texas on July 31, 2007, and has not been heard from since. Although there were several reported sightings of her in the local area following her disappearance, authorities now believe these were cases of mistaken identity involving a woman who resembled Cashew. It was considered uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning. Cashew, who was mentally handicapped, had a history of drug abuse and criminal activity.
