On October 13, 2006, 50-year-old Timothy James McKye vanished while in the process of relocating from his residence in Glendale, Arizona, to Florida. His last known location was in Beaumont, Texas, where an unusual incident preceded his disappearance. An apartment complex security guard in Beaumont assisted McKye after the U-Haul trailer he was towing became stuck in a ditch. Following this, McKye left the U-Haul trailer behind and was never seen or heard from again.
