On August 27, 1986, 36-year-old Jeffrey Lynn O'Carroll was last seen in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the vicinity of 400 South and 1300 East. At approximately 10:00 p.m. that evening, he contacted his sister by phone, stating that he was not feeling well. His sister had arranged to meet him, but O'Carroll never arrived at the designated location and has not been seen or heard from since. At the time of his disappearance, he did not have access to a vehicle.
