John Milton Harris III, a 58-year-old man, was last seen in Charlottesville, Virginia on July 1, 2022. At the time of his disappearance, Harris was experiencing homelessness and residing in a tent at a campground situated behind the Moose's By The Creek restaurant on Monticello Road. On the morning of his disappearance, he left the campsite without informing anyone of his destination. The last confirmed sighting of Harris was in the vicinity of the BP gas station on Fontaine Avenue in Charlottes
