In the summer of 1980, a profound and lasting mystery began to unfold in Henrico County, Virginia, with the disappearance of 76-year-old Charles Tyler Staples. On August 13, 1980, Mr. Staples, a Black male, was seen for the last time. From that day forward, no one has reported hearing from or seeing him again. At the time he went missing, he was described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. The community was left with a void and a multitude of unanswered question ...
