Stephanie Marie Pinero Morales was last seen on November 26, 2008, in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. At the time of her disappearance, she was 13 years old. Authorities believe that she left of her own accord. There is very little information available in her case. It is thought that she may still be in the local Ceiba area or could have traveled to San Antonio, Texas.
At the time she went missing, Stephanie was described as a Hispanic female, 5'0" tall and weighing 108 pounds.
She has brown hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, her hair was dyed dark red. One of her distinguishing features is that her upper teeth are slightly larger than average. She also has a burn scar on her leg. The clothing she was last seen wearing was her school uniform, which consisted of a yellow shirt and a dark blue or dark green skirt.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has an active case for Stephanie, with case number 1112127. An age-progressed photo has been created and circulated to show what she might look like at 23 years old. The Puerto Rico State Police is the investigating agency, and her case is also listed in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System under case number 6533.
