On July 22, 1986, 15-year-old Duane Edward Fochtman was last seen in the downtown area of Lincoln City, Oregon. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a Caucasian male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing at 5'5" and weighing approximately 130 pounds. He had a crippled finger on his right hand and a previously fractured ankle. When last seen, Fochtman was wearing a blue or black jacket, jeans, and possibly a stud earring. He sometimes spelled his first name as "Dwayne".
