Jason Edward Hood, a 53-year-old Black / African American male, was last seen on January 1, 2016, in Douglasville, Georgia. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as being 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 255 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. According to his family, Hood had expressed a desire to live outdoors and had a history of leaving his family for periods of time. He was never officially reported as a missing person.
