Tomorrow Dawn Dill, a 36-year-old woman, was last seen in Ocean Shores, Washington, on or around March 4, 2026. She was reportedly with her boyfriend, Kendrick Deshaun Bruce, during a visit to her adopted father's home in Ocean Shores. Friends and family grew concerned after Dill, a mother of one, became uncharacteristically out of contact. A friend officially reported her missing to the Tacoma Police Department on April 1, 2026, after last hearing from her via social media on March 23. Her car was later discovered abandoned just a block from her residence, with her debit cards and a torn-up photo of her son inside. The investigation into Dill's disappearance revealed troubling details. Her adopted father told police that she had previously confided in him about physical abuse by Bruce. Friends also reported receiving photos from Dill showing bruises she claimed were from him. The father of Dill's child told investigators she had told him, "If anything happens to me, Kendrick did it," and that Bruce had threatened her by saying, "Nobody would find your body." Investigators found that while friends and family received text messages from Dill's phone throughout March, they did not believe the messages were consistent with her usual way of communicating, and attempts to FaceTime her were denied. In a significant development, on May 22, 2026, Kendrick Deshaun Bruce, 30, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree identity theft, and unlawful disposal of human remains in connection with Dill's disappearance, although her body has not been found. A search of Bruce's Jeep by cadaver dogs indicated the presence of human remains in the rear of the vehicle. Furthermore, an examination of Bruce's internet search history from early March revealed searches for phrases such as "how to knock someone out," "how long does it take a body to start stinking after death," and "how to clean up blood from carpet." Investigators also discovered what appeared to be blood evidence in multiple areas of Dill's apartment. Financial records and surveillance video allegedly show Bruce using Dill's bank account after she was last seen. Bruce has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is being held on a $2 million bond. The case is being investigated as a no-body homicide, a situation that deeply pains her loved ones who long for closure and the chance to provide her with a final resting place.
