On a Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 2026, 53-year-old John Micheal Kapaun left his Burnsville, Minnesota, home for a walk, a routine part of his day. He was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. walking away from his residence near the 2000 block of 121st Street. His last known direction was northbound on County Road 11, heading toward Highway 13.
