In the quiet morning hours of December 8, 2017, 32-year-old Nadia Atwi, a beloved kindergarten teacher and mother, disappeared from her Edmonton, Alberta home. She was reportedly last seen at her residence in the area of 48 Street and 146 Avenue at approximately 6:30 a.m. Later that day, her car was discovered in a ditch in Rundle Park, a location overlooking the North Saskatchewan River.
