On a warm summer afternoon, August 3, 1968, twelve-year-old Robert James Brown, affectionately known as Robbie, vanished from the small community of Pefferlaw, Ontario. Earlier in the day, Robbie, his mother, and his younger sister had enjoyed time at Holmes Point Beach in Georgina Township before heading to the nearby Church of the Nazarene day camp where his mother was a volunteer.
