In the autumn of 2014, a family's life was changed forever with the disappearance of Clinton Robert Lemay. A male from Ontario, he was last seen on October 31, 2014, in the city of Niagara Falls. At the time he went missing, he was reportedly in a state of emotional distress, a detail that has added a layer of concern for his well-being from the outset. His departure from a friend's home on that Halloween night marked the beginning of a long and painful period of uncertainty for his loved ones, as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into years without any clear answers as to his whereabouts. The details of what he was wearing when he was last seen have been circulated in the hopes of jogging someone's memory. He was dressed in a black leather hooded coat, a plaid shirt with blue and black coloring, black jeans, and casual camouflage shoes. Distinctive marks on his body, such as a two-inch scar on the back of his left hand, several cigarette burn scars on his right forearm, and a small scar on the back of his right hand, were also shared as part of the public appeals for information. Standing at 72 inches tall and weighing 194 pounds, with black hair and green eyes, the description of Clinton is that of a man who would be readily identifiable, yet he seemingly vanished without a trace. The investigation into Clinton Lemay's disappearance was taken on by the Niagara Regional Police Service. Over the years, his case has remained open, a lingering question in the community and a source of unending grief for his family. The circumstances of his last known moments, leaving a friend's residence while feeling despondent, have left much room for speculation but little in the way of concrete leads. The case is an overview of a person who disappeared under emotionally vulnerable circumstances, leaving behind a collection of descriptive details that have yet to lead to his discovery. The lack of resolution continues to be a heavy burden for those who knew and cared for him, as they hold out hope for answers.
