He was wearing a grey zip-up hoodie, baggy black pants with distinctive yellow and orange patches, and black shoes. The hours following Devon's departure stretched into days, and then weeks, with no word from him to his family or friends. His direction of travel that afternoon remains unknown. There were unconfirmed sightings of someone matching his description on the outskirts of Jasper, by the side of a road, shortly after he was last seen. Another unconfirmed report placed him in British Columbia not long after he disappeared. As time passed, the trail grew colder, though a notable unconfirmed sighting occurred in Regina, Saskatchewan, in 2012, where an individual believed to be Devon was reportedly seen. These glimmers of hope, however, never led to a concrete breakthrough in the case. Devon is described as being 6'1" and weighing approximately 187 pounds, with blue eyes. While he often had long, wavy auburn hair, at the time of his disappearance, his head was shaved. A distinctive tattoo of a "zombie bite" was on his arm. The investigation into his disappearance has been handled by the Jasper RCMP. The case of Devon Moldowan is a perplexing one, marked by a sudden departure without personal belongings and a subsequent silence that has endured for years.
