In the late summer of 2025, a young man named Travis William Perlman vanished from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, leaving behind a family desperate for answers. The 19-year-old was last seen on August 7, 2025, in the city where he had recently relocated. A month would pass before his family, unable to make contact, officially reported him missing on September 7, 2025. Travis was known for his nomadic lifestyle, having previously traveled between Moose Jaw and various locations in British Columbia, including Peachland, Kelowna, and Vancouver Island. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a dark-coloured Nike zip-up sweater with a green logo and grey Timberland boots. He is described as standing between five-foot-six and five-foot-eight and weighing between 130 and 146 pounds, with brown hair and blue or green eyes. A distinctive spider and skull tattoo on his left forearm serves as a key identifying feature. The Moose Jaw Police Service launched a criminal investigation into Travis's disappearance, and his family expressed their deep concern for his well-being. His mother, Stephanie Weinstein, remembers him as "super smart... really funny," and someone who "just had the biggest heart." She recalls their last phone conversation in June 2025, a cherished memory before he went missing. Investigators learned that Travis had connections not only in Saskatchewan and British Columbia but also in the United States. The police have described the circumstances surrounding his case as suspicious and have made it a top priority for their criminal investigations unit. Despite following up on numerous leads and tips, and partnering with agencies across Western Canada, his whereabouts remain unknown. As time stretched on, the case of Travis Perlman became a prolonged and heart-wrenching mystery. Police have acknowledged the duration of his disappearance is highly unusual for their jurisdiction. One year after he was last seen, in August 2026, the Moose Jaw Police Service renewed their public appeal for any information, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, that could lead to answers. They have stressed their commitment to pursuing every possible investigative path to determine what happened to him. The investigation has been extensive, but authorities have stated that the evidence and facts available have not allowed them to determine his fate. The case remains an active and ongoing investigation, leaving his loved ones in a painful state of uncertainty, holding out hope to one day bring Travis home.
