The contents of his bags, which included items like a hunting knife, an axe, a small fishing rod, and a power drill, suggest he may have been prepared for a stay in the wilderness, but the lack of contact has heightened fears for his safety. Extensive ground searches have been carried out by the Ontario Provincial Police in and around the Sioux Lookout area, but as of now, there has been no sign of Jeremy. Authorities have urged the public to be on the lookout for any of the items Jeremy was carrying, with a specific request not to touch anything and to contact the police immediately if anything is found. The case remains an active missing person investigation.
