He also wore a beaded necklace and an earring in his right ear. Known to his loved ones as Billy Baptiste or Billy Turtle, he was a young Indigenous man with long black hair and brown eyes. He had a slender build, stood at five feet ten inches tall, and had a birthmark on the right side of his neck. The years that have passed since Billy's disappearance have been filled with silence and uncertainty for his family and friends. While there have been a handful of reported sightings of him over the years, none have ever been confirmed, and no one has had verified contact with him since that October evening in 1996.
