At the time of his disappearance, John was described as having a thin build, standing at approximately 5'11" and weighing between 135 and 140 pounds. He had blue eyes and long, unkempt greyish-brown hair that fell past his shoulders. A significant and noticeable characteristic was that he walked with a pronounced limp.
