In the late summer of 2026, concern grew for a 77-year-old man from Jersey City, New Jersey, named Ramon Contreras. On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 25th, at approximately 4:00 PM, Mr. Contreras was last seen in the vicinity of 123 Erie Street in the downtown area. A resident of the community, his disappearance prompted a swift response from local law enforcement and a plea to the public for assistance in locating him.
