In the warm, late afternoon of June 30, 2024, 55-year-old Dolmarie Cana Alvarez was at a relative's home in the Palacios de Marbella urbanization of Toa Alta, Puerto Rico. This would be the last time she was seen by her family. Although last seen at the end of June, it wasn't until July 16, 2024, that her mother, María M.
