In the late summer of 2022, a 32-year-old man named Arturo Camero Gutierrez vanished from a rural area in Texas. On September 5th of that year, he was last seen near the community of Rosita South in Maverick County. At the time of his disappearance, Arturo was described as a Hispanic male, standing between five feet seven and five feet nine inches tall, with a weight of approximately 190 to 200 pounds. He had brown eyes and short, curly brown hair, which was distinguished by a small spot on the right side of his head where hair did not grow. He was also likely in possession of his driver's license and national identification card from Mexico. A particularly poignant detail is that he wore a belt upon which several phone numbers were written, a mix of U.S. and one Mexican number. The circumstances surrounding Arturo's disappearance are not widely known, and details about what may have led to him going missing are scarce. The case is being handled by the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Maverick County Sheriff's Department, where he was last sighted.
