In the late summer of 2021, a 34-year-old father named Carl Shampine vanished from Prairieville, Louisiana. On August 22, 2021, for reasons that remain unclear, Carl was last seen running into a wooded area near Roy Rogers Road. From that moment, all communication and sightings of him ceased. He has not been seen or heard from again, leaving behind a young son and a family searching for answers.
