On February 9, 2020, 31-year-old Michael Zachary Fortenberry, known to his loved ones as Zach or Mikey, was last seen in the vicinity of the Fairfax Bridge near Carbonado, Washington. At the time of his disappearance, the Bonney Lake man was described as a white male, standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds.
