In the winter of 2017, concern grew for the well-being of 59-year-old Charles L. Hollies. He was last seen in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he had been staying at a LaQuinta Suites. The circumstances of his disappearance were unsettling; he left behind a note indicating he was simply stepping out to buy cigarettes.
