Joseph L. Sgroi, a 52-year-old man, was last seen on March 4, 1989, in Niagara Falls, New York. He left his residence at the Ivanhoe Apartments and did not return. A subsequent investigation confirmed that he had never come back to retrieve any of his personal belongings which were all left at his home.
