On November 5, 1987, Donald Brand, a 44-year-old crew member, was reported missing from the fishing vessel Uyak, which sank approximately 20 miles south of Sitkalidak Island near Kodiak, Alaska. Official records also identify him as Donald Lewis Edwards. He was a white male with blond or strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was approximately 6 feet tall and weighed around 200 pounds.
