In the late summer of 1987, a young man's life took an unknown turn, leaving a void of information that has persisted for decades. On August 31, 1987, 23-year-old Joseph Zarky was seen for the last time in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens, New York. At the time he vanished, he was described as a Black male, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
