On July 20, 1987, 29-year-old James Patrick Freddy was last seen in Boulder Creek, California. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance began near Highway 9 and Skyline Boulevard in Santa Clara County. During an alleged contact with police for driving under the influence, Freddy ran into the woods and has not been seen since. The case is being investigated by the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.
